What is the full form of B.Tech

B.Tech: Bachelor of Technology

B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology. It is an undergraduate degree program awarded in many countries like India, USA, Norway, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. It is also spelled as B.Tech. The course duration of B.Tech is 3 to 4 years depending on different countries and universities. In India, it is a 4-years undergraduate degree program, divided in 8 semesters.

Eligibility criteria to get admission in B.Tech

  • Candidate must have competed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Or, candidate has a 3 years diploma in any engineering stream to get admission in Second year. It is called lateral entry and the candidate is directly admitted to second year.
